Hello lovely people!
Unfortunately, due to low attendance and a lack of people who are interested in activism Queer and Allies for Activism will be discontinuing meetings for the foreseeable and beginning the process of cancelling the club as an AS club.
However, since the people who have been attending are still interested in meeting we will instead be having weekly discussion group meetings that aren't part of any official WWU club. We'll be meeting Thursdays in the BT Lounge at 8:00 pm. Mostly we'll be talking about different issues that affect the queer community and how we all feel about those issues, giving particular attention to how they affect minorities within the queer community. We will also occasionally just be hanging out watching queer movies, etc. and working on building a stronger queer community.
Anyone is welcome! We're all friendly I promise. =) If you're interested in continuing to know about those discussion group meetings you should reply to this and let me know because QAAFA as a club will no longer be sending out weekly e-mails.
